For Halloween I did actually make a quickie Halloween costume for my son. He wanted to be Link from Legend of Zelda (and the rest of that video game series), in Red. So I whipped out a quick t-tunic and red hat this afternoon for him to wear (all serged but open, except the neckline by hand). Which means he gets to wear the red tunic at our local SCA events, since it is larger than his last one. His sister wore the Fairy outfit I had made her in 2009 (on my web site here) which still fit her. She chose that rather last minute, since she kept changing her mind on what she wanted to dress up as. Glad it was easy this year, almost too easy. But for a couple of hours of wear, I didn't want to really make anything elaborate that can't be worn again.
ArtEvDaMo11 will begin tomorrow. I plan to participate in some fashion, even if it is only 15 minutes a day. I hope to do more than that minimum, but if I can do 15 minutes a day, I'll be happy.
For now, plans are: ( Read more on plans...Collapse )
